Wendy Goss - her fight with Cancer

17 January
On Labour Day 2005, Wendy was notified that a mass had been detected by ultrasound. Believing that this was a recurrence of her 1997 cancer, an operation was scheduled for late October.

On October 7, a rupture of her small intestine occured. We believe that this was caused by the "mass" (by now named George) sticking to, then pulling on a section of the small intestine. The resulting massive infection damaged her liver and kidneys and required two major operations. Wendy was out for most of a week, and in ICU for more than a week. This journal chronicles her fight with that cancer.
